Stephen Lomazzo resides in his hometown of Melbourne, Florida where he lives and works in an authentically decorated, mid-century ranch-style home built for his Grandparents in 1961.  As for his artistic sensibilities, he was warped in the late 1970s and 1980s by: Spaghetti-o's, Kool-Aid, and Saturday morning television.  He can also say he learned to drive on a 1931 Model-A Ford and can wiggle his ears.

As for schooling, he graduated with a BFA in Illustration from the Savannah College Of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia where he spent the best four and a half years of his life.  Expertly trained in conceptual design, story-boarding, book, poster and editorial design, Lomazzo posesses a unique brand of vintage stylization with a modern twist.

Stephen has been drawing since he was old enough to hold a crayon (click here for example) and has known ever since he would be an Artist.  Because of his passion for the arts, he is fluent in many stylizations, ranges and techniques; however, his ultimate goal is to be bestowed upon the honor of the Caldecott award for Children's picture book excellence.  He likes to write his own stories, too...
